With more than twenty seven years of construction experience, Stan oversees CAPITAL Builders based in Nashville, Tennessee. Stan’s responsibilities include the oversight and direction of all CAPITAL projects with an emphasis regarding the details and results of each. His industry knowledge and commitment to excellence consistently bring about a final product with “inspired finishes” and “precision scheduling” exceeding the customers expectations.
Stan cut his teeth in the industry serving as a Master Electrician. Working with institutions such as AT&T and Millwright Machinery. Extensive field experience with Pan American Electric led him to gain insight on projects such as Seven Springs, HG Hills Green Hills Development, Nashville Speedway, HCA, Suntrust Bank, Kohl’s Department Store, Books-A-Million, Pei Wei Restaurants, Morton’s Steak House, Whole Foods, Harris Teeter, Nashville Speedway, Nashville Ascend Amphitheatre, MTA Bus Terminal and the GM plant. During this stint of his career Stan’s propensity for design, planning and exceptional results inspired his passion for the entire building process. Further experience includes a spectrum of commercial and residential general contracting / building for Lowes and in the Medical and Dental fields.
Stan excels exceptionally in core humanitarian skills and leads in areas of organization, design, planning, management and customer service.
Among other accomplishments, Stan served in the US Marines and is a Baylor graduate with a Bachelors degree in Information Systems. Stan’s interest in community activities are vast serving in aid to the homeless, addictive and fundraising for Semper FI Ministries.
Previous experience includes serving as Regional Director of Insignia Commercial Group, Inc’s Eastern Region where he directed the oversight of a commercial portfolio in excess of nine (9) million square feet. He has successfully leased, managed, redeveloped and developed institutional assets for third party accounts including First Union National Bank, Crescent Resources, National Bank of Commerce, Prudential Realty, ARC Properties, Rodgers Capital Group, Omaha Woodmen of the World Life Insurance Society, Jamestown Properties, Jabez Capital, Paragon Properties, Woerner Turf and GE Capital. Additional previous experience includes development and redevelopment of retail shopping centers an office buildings throughout the United States with W. Gerald Ezell and Carl Storey III.
Among other accomplishments, Matthew was awarded the Nashville Board of Realtors “Award of Excellence” in 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1996. He is a licensed broker in Tennessee, Georgia, Massachusetts and Illinois, a Commercial & Residential contractor in TN. He has extensive community interest in Habitat for Humanity, Re-Construct, Nashville Rescue Mission, Green House Ministries, Room at the Inn, Hope for San Pedro and is a prolific writer for CAPITAL Peace.
Matthew is a Cum Laude graduate of Belmont College and holds a BBA degree in Finance, and advanced studies at Williamson Christian College in ministries.
